This is not my story. It belongs to Heather and her family and I wish with all my heart it had a happy ending.
This is not my story. But I feel inextricably connected and deeply affected.
This is not my story, but I can’t help turning my thoughts to my own special daughter who has medical challenges and faces uncertainties of her own. I wish I could do or say something to ease Heather and her family’s suffering. But, there’s nothing anyone can say or do. The fact is, what they are going through is every parent’s worst nightmare.
This is not my story, but Heather, Zackie’s amazing mommy somehow found the strength and courage to share a part of their story.
